It started with this thread in Clubsnap Selamat Datang ke Klubsnap on 04-05-2005, 05:48 PM by ProImage and the thread was kept alive to nearly 100 pages long as we can see here. After several meet-ups, the forum was born on the 1st of October 2005 and the rest as they say, is history. Klique Images forum is the first English-Malay photography forum in Singapore, promoting photography as a creative common ground among the Malay speaking community world-wide. Most of our pioneer members are from Clubsnap, probably the most popular photography forum in Singapore and Asia. Some are from Offstone, Circle of Light, Fotografer.net and others.
It was slow moving at first but within 5 months, we have more than 100 registered members and the number is still growing. Our membership is mostly from recommendations but we do have people joining us via search engines like Google.
Our members come from different ages, races, countries, using different camera brands, from film to digital, from 35mm to medium format but with one thing in common, our love for photography. That said, in general our members are mostly Singaporean male, Malay, have a flickr account, using Nikon dslr and if I may add, quite good looking.
